In Saltsburg the Presbyterian sunday school staged a missionary pageant to a large audience on Christmas evening. Guests included Rey and Mrs. D. H. Munk visiting Mrs. Funk’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Hart of Youngstown. High school teachers were given lamps at holiday shutdown. Mrs. Annie Walker of Vandergrift visited her aunt Mrs. Nancy Almes. Miss Hattie Grimes works for Shape Hardware Co. Miss Rachel Funk of Irwin spent time with Saltsburg friends. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nayis plan to winter in the sunny south starting January 1. Martin Sauger and Walter Sullivan moved to new homes last year. Helen Almes visited Blairsville Thursday. Dewey Carnahan and family of Salina moved to the Alex McBride farm.
