Brushvalley notes and weekend visits in the valley
Brush Valley A. W. R. Mark of the Brushvalley Rod and Gun Club camped in Huntingdon county and shot a deer last Thursday. Mrs Corling Overdorff and Naomi Dearmy of Buffalo spent the weekend with relatives in the valley. Mr and Mrs A G Nelson visited relatives in Pittsburgh. John Artemus of Johnstown and other locals spent Sunday with friends. An electric lighting system is being installed in the Methodist church and parsonage. the Ladies Aid Society will hold a bazaar and a chicken and biscuit supper.

Local families moved homes, a daughter Freda Margaret was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Foust, and Adella Mildred born to Emanuel Ressler. Roger Evans, formerly of town, was killed while hunting.
