Vicious Bull Kills Man In Conemaugh Township
An aged resident of Conemaugh township, Smith Templeton, was seriously injured at Selteborg on Wednesday when a vicious bull escaped a wagon bed, threw him from the seat, and dragged the wagon over his leg and head. The 81 year old was taken home after the shock and is feared fatally injured as downtown streets filled with frightened children.

The Indiana County Agricultural Society held its annual meeting in the Court House arbitration room. Most officers were re-elected including WM. F. Jemison as president and Wm. Maton as treasurer. A substantial balance over 1300 remained after fair expenses. Several vice presidents and auditors were chosen, and stockholders were urged to claim unpaid interests. The society plans improvements on the grounds next summer.

Work to Start on Tunnel Soon
Ten cars with a steam shovel, dinky engine, and 40 dump cars were shipped for James Corbett who holds the grading contract for the Buffalo Rochester & Pittsburg railroad north and south of town. Work to approach the hill to be tunnelled has begun at White farm, with a temporary track to move equipment. More men will arrive this week as grading starts in earnerst within a few days. Corbett has rented James A. White's Water street residence and will move his family here soon.

Wife Makes Startling Divorce Charges In Blairsville Case
Mrs Ida 8 Mahan of Allegheny files for divorce from James T Mahan alleging the husband carried their infant’s corpse into the yard at Blairsville and buried it there. She says after another child died he refused to hire an undertaker and she had to wash for funds to insure a proper burial. She claims ongoing abuse and says physicians warned she would lose her mind if she stayed.

Born in Washington township in 1824, he married Catherine Thompson on March 8, 1853. she died February 14, 1899, at 67.
