Warning on potato disease and spraying guidance
A special warning issued by Dr Whcom to potato growers in State College warns of a severe late blight epidemic. In many counties up to 60 percent of the crop is infected and losses could be enormous. Immediate spraying with Bordeaux mixture is advised and growers should contact their county agent for guidance on how to spray.
