A Heroic Prescription and Twin Clothes Tale
The Saturday Evening Post recounts Mr David J. Hill, first assistant secretary of state, and his family. It details a dramatic moment when a girl twin rejects girl’s clothes, prompting a years long practice of dressing the siblings identically, with a tailor-made suit for the girl and the boy wearing trousers, until she gradually agrees to skirts.

Admiral O Neill Denies 100 Shot Limit For Big Guns
The navy ordnance chief says claims that 12 inch guns on battleships and coast fortifications wear out after 100 firings are false. He notes only life grooves wear with use and can be repaired or replaced, with guns having fired hundreds of times without wornout. Army experts estimate 200 firings for coast guns, but this is speculative.
