Helman Reunion Adds To County Gathering Tradition
The 12th annual Helman Reunion drew nearly 200 people to the Benjamin Franklin Inn in Cambria County on Saturday for a basket lunch and visiting. Ernest Pheasant directed singing, with devotional exercises by J W Helman and readings by George Myera. Prizes went to the oldest and youngest attendees, while officers and committees for the coming year were named. The event also noted upcoming reunions in the region and listed numerous clan gatherings planned through August.
