Marion Center residents J L Brilhart and family from Homer City spent the weekend at their old home in East Mahoning and with Mrs W Barr in Marchand. Homer Montgomery and family from Plumville stayed with his brother Park VanHorn. A young people's rally in Marchand drew a large local delegation. Horace Kinter and wife visit Mrs Sarah Kinter in Rayne township who is seriously ill. J H C Emmatt and family from Bell's Camp Colorado visiting relatives here. Rev Clyde Copeland and W W Work attended a birthday party at Rochester Mills. Myrtle Baker of Marchand is guest of Misses Muriel and Lola. Berry pickers active. Lillian Pek home from Indiana. Early roasting ears and matoes on menu. Co A 1st regiment survivors to hold annual reunion and market picnic in the park Monday, August 21. Miss Muriel Barr, trained nurse, spending a couple of weeks at home.
