Langham Leads Home County in Tough Primary Races

In a tight Saturday primary election many county races remained undecided until late Monday as new law required longer counting. Langham captured the Congressional nomination with a 3485 lead, carrying Jefferson by 60 and district totals across Indiana Jefferson Armstrong and Clarion. Separate contests for Sheriff Treasurer and County Commissioner edged toward final counts, with Jeffries briefly challenging Thomas before Thomas pulled ahead. Marshall tops for County Commissioner. Leasure defeats Miller for Treasurer. Stouffer Gilbert and Hammers fill Auditor slots amid blunt turnout across the county.
