Blood for Blood Substitution in Christian Sermon on Self Sacrifice

In a Washington dispatch a preacher extols the law of self sacrifice as central to Christianity. He cites Christ as substitute and blood price for sin, links modern toil and martyrdom to ancient sacrifice, and analogizes battles, doctors, lawyers, and mothers to acts of self denial in the service of others. The sermon culminates with a Palestine battlefield contrast, declaring the triumph of the Lamb and the Lion on a living light mound.
