Subscriptions and postal fraud rules explained
The text outlines that subscribers who fail to renew, discontinue late, or neglect pickup can be held liable for arrears. Moving without notice, or failing to inform the publisher, makes the subscriber responsible. Courts deem refusing delivery or abandoning papers as prima facie fraud. Advance payers must notify if they do not wish to continue. otherwise, duties and arrears stay with the subscriber. Postal laws may allow arrest for fraud in such cases.
