Robbery and Sentences From Five Stores Burglary Case

A series of early morning robberies targeted five stores on Philadelphia Street. Moore and Lydick admitted guilt and received five year penitentiary terms. Goods worth hundreds were seized from Stumpf, Milliken’s drugstore, Herrick Bros., and Allison’s, with watches, revolvers, kodak, and coins among the loot. Moore, once employed at the electric plant, and Lydick have little prior crime history, while the case hints at others connected. A closing note covers a school gift and a separate accident injuring William Southwell.
