Ten Thousand Dollar Bill Trust Among Kin Sparks Wedding Plan
Abner Brill's plan uses a cut bill to bind two feuding nephews Warren Leigh and Andrew Dudley with Miss Dorothy Wayne acting as executor. After Brill dies, Dorothy distributes thirds. Andrew’s greed and a fire threaten his portion, while Warren shows grace, reconciles, and weds, leaving Dorothy paired with him. The tale unfolds amid small-town notices of local movements and visits.
