Gateway to Madison Project 421 Undergoes Major Redevelopment
Construction on the multi million dollar Project 421 Gateway to Madison began in April 2019 to reconstruct a new U 421 approach to the Milton Madison Bridge over the Ohio River. The state plans up to 15 million dollars in funding and envisions completion by late summer 2020 as lane closures and reduced speeds continue. Crews last week began on the north side of Second Street west of Harrison and this week focus on gas pipelines before finishing street and sidewalk work.
