Bank raid ends in gunfire near University of Chicago
In Chicago on September 30 a gang of seven attempted a raid on the University State Bank near the university. A bank guard William Fleming and two unidentified customers were shot. Fleming is in serious condition. The robbers fled after tear gas forced them to retreat, escaping empty handed.
