A statewide alert was issued at 11 07 a m by Justice of the Peace J D Hill of Indiana to arrest Earl Fuller 48 alias Eark English of Indiana on desertion and non support charges. Fuller accompanied by his 10 year old son dr is believed headed to New Jersey in a truck loaded with decorating materials. Police in Altoona Lewistown Huntingdon Harrisburg were asked to detain Fuller and notify Hill who holds the warrant.

Tragic Log Home Fire Claims Six Year Old Life
A six year old boy, Elmer Burindo, perished in a two story log house fire near Saga early Thursday. His sister Mary, 23, was hurt. a 16 month old baby was saved by clinging to the 23 year old sister as she jumped to safety through a flaming porch roof. The father Gustus Burindo discovered the fire and, after escaping his own fall, helped others to safety. The mother is in a sanitarium with tuberculosis. The home and contents were destroyed, with two other children escaping from a second floor window.
