The move follows Munsey's will provisions and includes Mohican properties. Mobilization of the publications will begin immediately as associates of the newspapers join in running the business.

Nicholas Browse Trist great great grandson of Thomas Jefferson and nephew of Nicholas Phillip Trist died at his Sewickly home. He spent 23 years with the Pennsylvania Railroad and seven years as a wheel specialist with Schoen Steel Wheel Co. Funeral arrangements are being completed. He was connected to notable U.S. history through the 1848 treaty event.
Harrisburg news reports Elvin H. Conarroe deputy secretary of the Commonwealth will take over as Secretary of the Commonwealth on October. He was named by Gov. appoint to succeed Dr Clyde L. King leaving state service at month end. Conarroe will serve until the end of the administration in January.
Martin Semerdain a 40 year old Tacony grocer faced three masked bandits who aimed pistols at his head in Philadelphia. He laughed and protected his cash register, but was shot in the leg. He is at Frankford Hospital as police search for the assailants.
Mrs Belle McKee Lowman and Mrs GC M McGinley visited the city yesterday calling on friends and stopping by the Evening Gazette. They toured the plant and watched the Hoe press run thousands of copies of Indi ana County's only daily newspaper, delivering world and local news to a wide readership.
