Booster Day Marks A Great Town Meeting

Samuel Semour of the PRR defended railroads against recent flood of legislation and urged fair treatment while pledging 25 dollars to the Military Band. Woodworth Clum of BPRR and Cherry pledged 30 dollars, praising local pride and urging united action to attract industry. Justice Elkin announced a 50 dollar contribution from Indiana Street Railways Co. Audience sang America as the crowd dispersed, calling Booster Day a success and urging concerted action for a brighter future.
