Pilot Safe In Hill Crash Near Snowshoe Mountain
Pilot Paul Reeder survived a mail plane crash about 15 miles west of Snowshoe Mountain in Fog shrouded terrain. He suffered a forehead laceration and believed the cargo of several hundred pounds of mail may be destroyed. Plane crash kills two near Ancram, Hudson
In Hudson New York on September 27 a small plane crashed in a swamp about a mile northeast of Ancram in Columbia county. Pilot G. D. Haptie of Brooklyn and passenger Joseph Kowalski of Schenectady were killed. Engine trouble is believed to have caused the accident as a forced landing went wrong.

Arthur Robertson aged 25 from Lockport pleaded guilty to assault and related charges stemming from a August 12 shooting that wounded Hans Hoel. Dynamite blast at Coverdale injures seven residents
