Three people were hurt when a car driven by D M Sachler lost control on Indiana-Punxsutawney road south of Marion Center. Sellig Gelbman and Mrs Clar hier of Pittsburgh were admitted to Indiana Hospital with serious injuries. Mrs Sachter suffered leg and rib injuries and facial lacerations.

East Orange New Jersey and Indiana figures mourned in separate notices. McGee of Bed township Jefferson county died at 7:20 A.M. from pleural pneumonia after a five day illness. He was 66, born August 18, 1889, in Cloe to Daniel and Anna Williams McGee. A carpenter, he lived in Cloe thirty five years, survived by his widow Levina Couch, one daughter, two granddaughters, and siblings James, Harry, Ralph, Ina Leisure, and Blair Grube. Funeral Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. at the home, with Rev. Richard G. Shockey and Rev. A. A. Brian officiating. Burial in Oaks Lawn Cemetery.
