The Arthur Godfrey case over alleged close contact with an Ozark Airlines passenger plane is now with the CAA legal section in Kansas City. Investigator Harry Troxell says Godfrey’s formal reply and file were forwarded yesterday for any action deemed necessary.
In Osaka M Stationmaster Taro Matsumoto pawned 20 warm umbrellas to lend to rail passengers caught in sudden showers without charge or signature. Passengers returned the umbrellas diligently, and Matsumoto now owns 38 umbrellas.
