A Traveling Man's Experience on an Eastbound Train

Sam A. Garber recounts aiding a gravely ill woman aboard an eastbound O. & NR. T. train from Pendleton to La Grande Oregon. Funeral of Dante Roof Held at County Home Church

Funeral services for Dante Roof, an aged Fairview resident, were held Friday afternoon in the chapel at the County Home. Rev. J. W. Cary of the M. Faith church led the obsequies and interment followed in Oakland cemetery. Relatives thank County Commissioners and Steward Shafer for care and for arranging funeral services.
