Automobile Caught Between Two Cars on Crowded Broadway

Big auto owned by John H Springer, lessee of the Grand Opera house, crushed between two street cars at Broadway and 31st Street. Springer, his family, and the chauffeur escaped with bruises and shock. Gasoline ignited, rescuers freed them, all rushed to hospital.
