Litzinger pleads guilty and is sentenced in double murder
Charles B. Litzinger, 27, former state highway patrolman and Johnstown officer, pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the slayings of Anthony Venet and James Ford. Judge Copeland sentenced him to concurrent 10 to 20 year terms in the Western penitentiary. He will be moved to Pittsburgh prison soon.

Plymouth Mass September 15 The cool depths of Great Herring pond were dragged today for the solution to the DuBois mystery a murder without a corpse. Mrs DuBois disappeared in August. Her husband Charles Edwin DuBois a prominent jeweler was under suspicion but released. A mattress and canvas stained with blood were found in the house. Investigators have dragged the pond searched Plymouth harbor and hunted the DuBois property. Police say a corpse is not yet found and the woman may be alive in Canada Paris or nearby.
