State Relief Board approves second 600000 road aid grant
The State Emergency Relief Board today authorized a second 600000 allocation for road relief to be spent by the State Highway Department funded by the Federal government from a 5 million seaboride pool. A further 300000 was granted for September food and milk aid to counties. Indiana county receives 5000. Philadelphia gets 150000. Allegheny 74500. and other small grants are listed. Vocational schools for unemployed adults will open by October 1 in public school buildings, funded by a 227000 Federal grant to sustain operations into the new year. Several county relief board officials resigned as new plans began.

Water flow study links Lehigh River to paper cup plant output
