A family of four and four crew members were rescued alive ashore at Iker suak fjord on Greenland’s east coast after their plane, the City of Richmond, was forced down en route from New York to London. They were found by the British trawler Lord Talbot, which ferried eight survivors to safety and contends with limited space on its vessel as winter approaches Angmagsalik.
