Somerset Pa September 12 The enormous cost of the Quemahoning dam under construction in the northern part of Somerset county by the Manufacturers Water Company of Johnstown is disclosed in a bill of equity. Up to September 1 the company had paid 1 090 701 for relocation and preliminary work plus 616 064 for land, 42 962 for rights of way bring total to 1 749 727. When finished the dam will flood parts of three townships and all of Stanton's Mills. the company says the land of Hirmin H Blough will not be injured.
