Rossiter Native Killed in Butler Race Crash
Frank Kelly of Ebensburg was killed in a five car crash during a Butler race at the south end of the track on Saturday afternoon. Four other drivers were injured, none seriously. Kelly, 36, lived at 204 Lloyd Street, Ebensburg, and had recently moved from Colyer and Detroit to partner with Alvin Dean in an Ebensburg garage and racing activities. He is survived by his widow and seven siblings. Funeral services will be held at Holy Name Church in Ebensburg with burial in the Catholic cemetery.

CHICAGO sept 11 INS Through advances in the chemistry of nutrition selenium today gave men the definite promise of seven added years of longevity. Selenfe adaption of the nutritional process in plant and animal life assures not only a greater expectation of life but a more viable race according to a paper by Prof Henry Sherman of Columbia University to the American Chemical Society convention here. The report predicts a new society ruled as in earlier times by men of advanced years. The expectation of life may rise from 70 to 77 under the scheme. Men will be at the height of mental power at 66 rather than 58. The age for finding it hard to get new work would be 62 instead of 46. Protective foods milk vegetables eggs and fruit key to the plan. The foods act chemically when given in certain proportions.

Turtle Creek Auto Damaged By Fire Incident
Anthony Oblock of Turtle Creek Pennsylvania drove a car that caught fire while restarting at the Philadelphia and Seventh streets intersection Saturday afternoon. Assistant Chief James L. Jack and Captain H. G. Vuckenberg led a fire department truck from headquarters to extinguish the blaze with chemicals at 2 10 p.m. The engine stalled as he waited at a red light, and the fire broke out when the starter was tramped. The department prevented the car from being fully destroyed.

Frank A Peay BB resident of Indians was found dead in his rooms at 415 Philadelphia St about 1:30 p m yesterday. Neighbors alarmed by a siren in his rooms called police who broke in and found the body fully dressed on a couch. Coroner Frederick W St Clair said death was natural and nearly eight hours old. No relatives are known. The body was sent to Rudolph Theiss on North Fourth Street. Funeral services will be at St Bernard's Roman Catholic Church at 9 a m Wednesday with burial in St Bernard's cemetery.
