McKinley Shankle and William McKinley Steenboth of Cherry Tree were found guilty of larceny. Judge Langham ordered restitution and prosecution costs, plus a $10 fine each. Shankle is to be interned indefinitely at the Pennsylvania Training School in Morganza. Steen will be interned at the Industrial Reformatory at Tiuntingston.
James Colangelo of Philadelphia street was arrested last week for selling liquor without a license. He appeared before Squire W. M. Mahati on Saturday morning. the hearing was brief and the grand jury returned a true bill before noon. Delangelo’s case is set for trial Thursday. The judge lauded the swift proceeding as one of Indiana’s quickest ever.
