George W. Davis of Blairsville died at his home at 2 o clock from heart neuralgia after a brief illness. He leaves a widow and son Harry Davis, who is in business with him. A longtime undertaker, he served on the Blairsville School board, and was a trustee of the Methodist Episcopal church. He was a Mason and son of pioneer David Davis. A Republican with independent leanings, funeral arrangements were not yet set.
