Murder charge in eight month buried body case
A 20 year old woolen mill worker in Laconia New Hampshire was held on murder charges for shooting her father Sylvester Roberts 52 last December and hiding his body under loose boards in a sheep pen on the family farm. Her brothers Lt Conndr Charles Roberts and Petty Officer Robert Roberts turned her over to police after becoming suspicious of her alibi. The body lay buried for more than eight months before it was discovered by a sheriff and state trooper who were directed to the pen by the suspect.
