Browny Had Narrow Escape From Hunting Accident
Clarence Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Brown of near Shelocta and Parkwood, barely survived a shooting incident while hunting a hawk. A loaded 92-40 steel jacket shell struck his right jaw and tongue, with the projectile exiting his neck. He received six stitches, jaw reset by X ray, and is resting easier at Indiana Hospital.
