Enoch Ardens Increasing As ert A. MacDowell of Laugherties, NL Y., was said to be taken care of. She wed MacDowell two months after Lt Harold Goad, bomber pilot, was reported dead. Goad later was found alive in a Rangoon prison camp. The two other cases involve Mrs Pearl Kelser of Williamsport and Mrs Laurie Cales Bernstein of Oakland. Kelser learned Sgt Earl Smith of Montgomery, Pa, had been heard alive in a Pacific short wave broadcast, and she married Pvt Hoyt H Keiser last July. She must annul when official word comes. Bernstein wed wounded European war veteran Lt Eben Bernstein, while Lt James Cales, her first husband, was found alive in a prison camp. he had been reported killed May 7. Lt Eben Bernstein remains hospitalised for wounds from St Lo.
