Born to Irwin Dickson and Sarah Hazlett Dickson, he lived in Indiana 41 years working in draying and transfer. He served in the Borough Council and was fire chief in the Indiana Fire Department. He married Mabel Bennett in 1920 and is survived by a widow, siblings J A Tuckson O G C Dickson Mrs Edward Cumpston and Mrs Hugh McJunkin, with funeral at 306 South Seventh Street Friday afternoon.

Fire destroys garage and barn at North and Viola properties
A late afternoon fire destroyed the garage of Dominic Viola and the rear barn of Mrs. J. North at 43 South Eleventh Street around 8 40 pm. The blaze damaged lumber sheds and nearby structures, with total losses estimated at 2500 dollars and North insured for 600. Children playing with matches were cited as the probable cause. fire crews prevented greater spread.

Copperhead Snake Found in Banana Shipment in Town
Uncle Lick Wehrle, noted naturalist and Academy member, possesses a copperhead snake that arrived in Indiana in a truckload of bananas at Grand Union Tea Company.
