The town of Clymer held a formal opening for its new bridge after a week of informal use. A parade led by the Clymer Legion Civil War Veterans and local groups featured 75 Indiana Victory cars from Wirthland Church to town. Floats and bands competed for prize money with first prize $25 going to Sgricola Bros, second $15 to Clymer Hardware, and third $10 shared by Central Trading and Clearfield Supply.
