The Soviet Union raised loan demands during negotiations on credits to finance trade development, adding 410 million per item alongside 100 million in credits. The alleged slayer, thought to be dead, drifted to Buffalo where he found success before returning to New Kensington in a broken state. Police later identified him and he confessed to the killing. Mrs. Barnes testifies for the defense, having long forgiven him.
