Western Pennsylvania progresses with the worn clothing collection drive for Near East relief. With hundreds of thousands affected in Armenia and other Near East regions, Western Pennsylvania residents are urged to donate discarded garments to save lives this winter. Edward Kaufman, leading the effort, emphasizes clothing as a lifeline and a duty of Western Pennsylvanians to their “brothers’ keepers.”
J Lisle Galbreath of Indiana wed Miss Mariz J Weaver of Plumville in a Lutheran ceremony. Attended by H Dwight Galbreath, the couple planned a Cleveland trip and to reside in Indiana where Galbreath works for R M Motor Co. Mrs Galbreath had been active in Plumville society and a millinery firm.
Mrs Eyeline Smith named sole beneficiary and executrix under the will of her sister Miss Susan McCormick of fanana dated March 9. Margaret Hammill of Blairsville is beneficiary and executrix of the estate of her husband Frank Hammill dated January 30, 1919. Bequests include 25 to Samuel, David and Merle Brown from Eliza J Lee of Conemaugh township. 60 to Mr and Mrs James Repine and 159 note to Marion G Brown. Proceeds from sale of property go to Clay’shire Presbyterian Church and remaining shares to legatees.
