A Democratic County Committee meeting in Blairsville elected J. J. Henderson of Indiana as County Chairman with Harry Fee as Secretary and J. Wood Clark as Treasurer. Death of George Jones in Garmantown Tragedy
George Jones aged about 20 was killed when struck by a freight train on the C and C division at Garmantown. He died about 2:30 a m in Spangler hospital after attending a family reunion. 25th Annual Canal Boatmen Reunion Held At Blairsville
The 25th annual reunion of canal boatmen was held Wednesday in Blairsville with rain showers dampening the day.
