Panic Stricken Girls Leap From Windows in Ten-Story Fire
In Cincinnati on October 30 a blaze at the Neave building at Fourth and Race streets caused panic among workers. More than twenty women crowded windows awaiting evacuation as flames spread to offices. One woman jumped five stories in fear and was badly hurt. A fireman also fell from a ladder, both seriously injured. Over ten people were taken to hospitals or its vicinity for treatment.
