Mrs. W. F. Klein returns from Pittsburg after a visit with relatives. Mrs. H. M. Zimmerman of Plom ville and Mrs. Fleming of Sagamore visit Pittaburg. S. W. Rose of the Bon Ton leaves for Cambria and Bearfield counties on business. Dr. James S. Hammers returns from Pittsburg and heads to Punxsutawney. Mrs. J. W. Cary and Thelma stay with Mrs. Rebecca Mullen in Apollo Van dergrift Clizas. Mrs. C. A. Sloan and Rath tour Kentucky and West Virginia. Miss Lou McGregor visits DuBois after Cambridge Springs vacation.

Mr Annie Donnelly and son Ambrose of Tyrone are visiting P J McGovern’s family in South Tenth Street and will go to Punxsutawney to see another brother Patrick McGovern. In health news, George Shelton of South Gibann Pa recalls chronic diarrhoea in 1868 during military service and credits Chamberlains Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy for relief after a doctor suggested it. The medicine is sold by all druggists.

An OCR read shows a vintage advertisement letter urging Indiana residents to trust Dean's Kidney Pills for kidney trouble with testimonials from "1% McKean" and directions to purchase at local drug stores. It touts a 40 cent price and notes Waterexhilbura Co as sole agents for the United States.
