Mahaffey Motorist Found Dead
A 30-year-old Mahaffey motorist, James Bartlebaugh, was found dead beneath his wrecked car on Route 219 seven miles south of Luthersburg in Clearfield County at 9:30 a.m. Friday. He died from internal injuries after the car left a curve on icy roads and rolled down an 18-foot embankment. Coroner Michael W. Mowery declared death at the scene. funeral arrangements are handled by McCracken Funeral Home.
