On Oct 5 a general store robbery at John Sibley’s yielded guns shells tobacco cigarettes and a cedar chest. Ten year old George Lutsee described the chest to tie the case to Steve Lutso and sons. Steve Jr. confessed and named accomplices Walter Chidboy Mike Thur Jr. and Harold Broday. Chidboy Thur and Lutso Sr. were fined one hundred dollars costs and jailed six to twelve months.
