Sen Wolfe opposes a 70 percent cut to industrial development funds and pledges to vote for restoration.

A teenager admitted killing a girl after an autopsy noted rape. Marrone picked up Ruitt in a car at 11 30 a m and returned to class by 12 20 p m after a struggle at a deserted lovers lane. He moved the girl from the car, discarded clothing, and gagged her with a tissue. He later attended Billy Graham’s rally in New York and was described as devout, active in church and school activities. The slain girl, Start! Zeitler, will be buried in Fair Lawn today.

Frank Gruda 38 died in hospital after a rock slab collapsed on him while helping set up a track cross-bar. Born November 11 1918 in Laramore he was married to Audrey Dee Jewart and father to Frank and Plaudett. He had spent years bedridden with paralysis. His funeral services are planned with a high mass Friday at 9 am and burial in St Bernard's Cemetery Indiana. a full obituary will appear tomorrow.
Mrs Amanda Elizabeth Scott of 524 Luciusboro died at her home May 24 at 10:25 PM. Born May 28, 1878 in Red Ban Two Clarion County, she lived 46 years in Indiana County and 20 in Luciusboro. Survived by husband James Isaac Scott. children John G James F Mra Glenna Taylor. 13 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren two great great grandchildren. Preceded by husband and two sons Alton and William. Services held at the funeral home with interment Oakland Cemetery.

Alberta Nelson, 22, of McKeesport, and Robert Lee Finnegan, 27, of Buena Vista, were injured when their small plane crashed in a field in North Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County. They were admitted to Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg in satisfactory condition with body bruises after the motor allegedly conked out. The wings were torn off in the crash.
