Creekside Patriot Celebration Recap at Creekside

A May 20 rain didn’t dampen Creekside’s patriotic celebration drawing a large crowd. The event featured a 12 by 16 flag donated by the Ladies' Civic Club, raised at the public school grounds, with students and girls aiding the club. Speakers included J Elder Peeler and reverends Beaton Parri among others.

Red Cross Drive Opens as Community Raises Funds

Lawrence and Mr Valenti attend as Wynn, a Indiana officer, and Adair a Camp Lee private offer talks. The Second Red Cross Drive closes the program. A large American flag is passed through the crowd and $121.60 is raised. Creekside's quota is $300 with the balance to be raised by a Red Cross booth and solicitors.
