The Purchase Line School District announces a six week summer enrichment program starting June 23, with classes from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the regular school. Courses cover ceramics music drama photography reading and recreation. lunches and milk provided with a five cent lunch cost.
A report on fundraising clubs within the GOP outlines two main groups RN Associates and the President's Club, detailing membership estimates from 1,000 to 2,700 donors and their ties to White House outreach. It notes donors contributing $1000 or more for access to meetings and reports on government actions in Washington.
A Jet Noise study near Moses Lake Washington measured jet altitude effects from 400 to 2000 feet and recorded reactions on score sheets. Hafner resigned as assistant pastor of St. James in Trenton, vows to continue priestly functions. Stanley calls marriage natural and beautiful. Church officials note the union violates vows of chaste life. Mayer, another priest, says the church likely will not recognize the marriage though it is legal in Pennsylvania.
