Man gets life for beating death of boy in Pittsburgh
Leonard Harvey, 30, was given a life term in Allegheny County Criminal Court after pleading guilty to second degree murder in the February death of Richard Cooke, a 2 year old in Pittsburgh's Hill District. The judges called him a menace to society. Harvey had previously served six years for beating his own 14 month old son in 1956.
