A Canadian passenger plane crashed near Chibougamau Lake in northern Quebec, killing six men including W H Clarke a General Airways pilot and George Millhcan a mechanic. The plane was returning to Roty Quebec from northern mining properties when it went down. Leo Springer of Ceres Explorations was among the unidentified dead. Investigators traced the wreckage two days after the crash.
