Tearing Run Woman Burned in Kitchen Explosion
Mrs. Katie Dydish, 22, wife of Len Dydish and mother of two, is in critical condition at Indiana Hospital after an explosion in her Tear ing Run kitchen. She lit a fire, poured kerosene oil on it, and a live spark ignited gas, burning her clothing. Her husband, who was in bed, tried to help and sustained minor burns. Neighbor Peter Vischi summoned an ambulance.

Escapees Confined at Good Shepherd Home in Pittsburgh

Florence May 15 Brig Gen Henry T Thompson retired of Columbia has coordinated with the Florence American Legion Auxiliary for the unveiling of the Florence public library grounds on May 30. Mrs Wilbur Jones and her twin daughters Wilburta and Katherine will participate in the exercises. The twins will pull the silk cords to unveil a marble drinking fountain honoring Florence county men who died in the World War. Rescued miner recalls mine blast at Mather
