Blairsville Seeks Prospective Band Members
Blairsville plans to reactivate VFW Post 582 marching band once popular in western Pennsylvania from 1950 to last year. Joseph Bratten, Blairsville Senior High School band director, will lead. A formation meeting is set for Tuesday May 25 at 7 30 pm at the VFW Club Route 22 west of Blairsville. All former members and anyone interested in reviving the unit as VFW or community band are urged to attend.

Aquatic School Set This Summer at IUP
Indiana University of Pennsylvania in partnership with the American Red Cross offers a 10 day aquatic school from June 6 to June 16. Over 150 students have completed the program, with 100 more expected this year. The $110 fee covers room meals insurance transport and special programs. instruction is free. Two Crash Victims Listed As Guarded
Indiana residents injured in separate crashes early today and yesterday on district roads were treated at area hospitals and released. Betsy Nesbitt 20 of Indiana was listed in guarded condition at Westmoreland Hospital Greensburg after a crash on 5th Street near Indiana Area Senior High School. Debra Kepp 18 of Harrisburg was treated for minor injuries and released. Russell Wissinger 1196 Wayne Ave. was listed in guarded condition at Westmoreland Hospital after a car pedestrian crash on Wayne Ave south of Indiana. A Rossiter motorist James A. Hickox 20 suffered minor injuries in a one car crash on Pennsylvania 236 and was released from Adrian Hospital Punxsutawney. William Bennett Homer City RD reported his car was sideswiped by a hit run on Route 5b near Route 54.

Fall Fatal To District Young Man
Terrance Fuehrer, 19, of Rochester Mills died after a bird startled a nest causing him to fall from a ten-foot scaffold while removing a bird nest at Calvary Baptist Church Buck Run. He died at Westmoreland Hospital Greensburg after transfer from Indiana Area Hospital. Fuehrer was a Marion Center High School graduate and foster son of Rev. Calvin J. Cyphert.

Torrance Stile Hospital trustees received a resignation from Scott Hockensmith and moved to resolve transportation for patients and the future of hospital farm lands. A 1974 bus has failed repeatedly, delaying therapy visits. funds from a canteen account cannot be used to buy a new bus. The region says the bus should come from the General Fund, which has no available money, while farmland disposition is to be decided by the state as maintenance is not feasible. A public meeting May 25 at 6 pm in the hospital library will discuss both issues with Concerned Employees of TSH.
