The Sixth Annual Indiana County Track and Field Meet concluded with Class A and B relay races. Indiana swept Class A, scoring 48 points with Blairsville second and Homer City third. Blairsville won the relay and a cup from Harry White. Class B saw Plumville, Clymer, Saltsburg, Elders Ridge, and others contesting, with battles among Plumville, Clymer, Saltsburg, and Elders Ridge for top honors.

Bennett Stadtmiller Dies in Indiana at 85
Bennett Stadtmiller, 85, a respected Indiana resident and Civil War veteran, died at his home at 141 North Fifth Street at 3:30 this morning after years confined to the house. Funeral services will be at St. Bernard's Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Thursday, with interment in the Catholic Cemetery. obituary in tomorrow's Evening Gazette. Mrs. Carrie Bornheimer Bruce of Mount Washington died May 20 in Homeopathic Hospital Pittsburgh. She will be buried from her parents' home at Indiana on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with services at Dixonville Wesleyan Church and interment at Ruffner Cemetery. She is survived by husband, four children, and both parents, plus siblings Ida, Logan, Dwight, Edith, Margarite, Fred, Hattie, and Mrs. Verner Shields.
