Death of Raymond Mikesell in Blairsville

Raymond Mikesell died of pneumonia at his home 45 East Rawson Avenue Blairsville on Saturday evening May 17. He leaves his mother Myrtle Mikesell and brother Homer Mikesell at home. Funeral services were held at his home at 2 PM and interment followed in Blairsville Cemetery.

Graf Zeppelin set for Atlantic crossing voyage

Reports describe plans for the Graf Zeppelin to sail from Seville toward Africa and onward to a trans Atlantic route. New passengers include Mya and Mary Plerea, Lieut. Election petitions, local board disputes reach judge

Obituary for Indiana County resident John O Neal

Rest born in Armstrong township April 14 1836. He sailed to Panama and California before returning to Mitchells Mills Indiana county. He served in Civil War Company B 67th Pennsylvania and later farmed and ran lumber business. He was married to Nancy Walker and had six children sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was a lifelong United Presbyterian and active in church affairs. He died leaving a generous legacy to the Indiana community.
